Still enjoying very nice spring weather with near-normal temperatures and dry conditions to round out the week. A weak Pacific trough could bring a few showers to the area late Saturday night or early Sunday from a deep marine layer. Expect a nice day out there today under mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 60's, southwest winds increasing 10-15 mph by afternoon with gusts to 20. As this trough digs south through the area over the weekend temperatures will cool as highs fall from the lower 60's on Saturday to around 50° on Sunday. The onshore flow will strengthen generating gusty west winds to 40 mph and a deep marine layer across our coastal and valleys areas. The marine could be thick enough to squeeze out light rain or drizzle, mainly on the lower coastal slopes. There is some potential for a little moisture to spill into the Big Bear Valley Sunday morning with even a few flurries possible, little to no accumulation is expected. This trough will slide east Monday bringing a return to fair and warmer weather next week.
